Downloads
One application, built for each platform it ships on. Pick yours, or open it in a browser with nothing to install.
Beta ZYRNTOPO is still in beta and under active development. Expect bugs, rough edges and the occasional error — including in map downloads and offline maps, which are the areas changing fastest right now. Do not rely on it as your only navigation tool in the backcountry. If something breaks, tell us what happened; reports from the field are what these releases are built from.
Coming: a native app. Everything below is the web build — the same application, packaged for each platform. A native ZYRNTOPO for Android, Windows and Linux is in development: not a web app in a shell, but a real client with its own map engine. No release date yet, and the builds here keep shipping and stay supported in the meantime.
Android
Android 7.0 or later, phone or tablet. Google Play installs and updates it for you; the signed APK is published too.
Direct download (APK)
Universal build — all ABIs, for a device with no Play access
- .apk9.6 MB
curl -fLO https://pois.zyrntopo.com/downloads/zyrntopo-1.15.25-beta.apk
adb install zyrntopo-1.15.25-beta.apkSideloaded copies do not update themselves.
Windows
Windows 10 or 11 — 64-bit, ARM64 or 32-bit. The same application in a desktop shell.
All Windows builds (6)
- .exe — installer, 64-bit675 MB
- .msi — managed, 64-bit687 MB
- .exe — installer, ARM64670 MB
- .msi — managed, ARM64683 MB
- .exe — installer, 32-bit664 MB
- .msi — managed, 32-bit674 MB
Take the 64-bit build unless you know otherwise. ARM64 is for a Snapdragon machine such as a Surface Pro 11. The .exe installs for the current user; the .msi is for Group Policy or Intune.
Get-FileHash zyrntopo-1.15.25-win-x64-setup.exeThe installers are not code-signed yet, so SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC.” Check the SHA-256 against the download archive, then choose More info → Run anyway.
Linux
Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, RHEL, openSUSE and Arch get their native package; anything else gets a self-contained AppImage that needs no root.
curl -fsSL https://zyrntopo.com/install.sh | shIndividual packages (8)
The installer detects your distribution and architecture, verifies the SHA-256 and installs the right file. No 32-bit build ships.

zyrntopo update
zyrntopo version
zyrntopo removeAmazon Fire
Fire HD and Fire Max tablets, and any Android device running the Amazon Appstore.
Which Fire tablets
Fire OS 6, 7 and 8. Fire OS 5 devices sit below the Android 7.0 floor and cannot run it. No Fire tablet carries a GPS receiver, so position comes from Wi-Fi rather than satellites.
Browser
Nothing to install and no account. Any current browser runs the full app, and it installs to the home screen or desktop as a PWA.
What works in a browser
Every offline feature works once an area is saved. Needs a current browser with WebGL2; installing it to the home screen keeps it available offline.
Current release 1.15.25 (build 244) — Android 1.15.25, Windows 1.15.25, Linux 1.15.15. Sizes and SHA-256s for every file are listed in the download archive.

A row appears here only when a published build sits behind it.

What it needs

- Storage
- Sized to your saved areas — gigabytes are normal.
- Network
